A teacher from Negros Occidental continues with his passion for teaching despite the challenges of chronic kidney disease.
According to a report on "Unang Balita," 32-year-old RJ Ledesma teaches industrial arts and computer subjects at the Bago City Elementary School.
Ledesma has been teaching for seven years, all the while battling his disease.
Because of his condition, he gets tired and out of breath easily. Ledesma also goes to dialysis sessions three times a week.
Regardless of the challenges, Ledesma wants to live a longer life to help more students.
In line with National Teachers Day on Thursday, “Unang Balita” honored the modern-day heroes’ dedication and sacrifices.
