Motorcycle driver mourns his pet dog in the most touching way
A motorcycle driver who lost his furry friend sent off his beloved pet to the rainbow bridge in the most touching way ever.
On social media on Friday, a netizen named Jem Ramos shared a photo of a motorcycle driver stuck in the traffic in Quezon City. In the driver's back was a black box that contained his dog's remains, with a sign that says: "My dog died. Please slow down. Funeral," and a photo of his beloved dog.
The photo quickly went viral as many fellow dog lovers expressed their sadness and sympathies for the grieving fur parent.
The man in the photo was Joem Castillo, who lost his shitzu named Buddy on the same day because of blood parasite, which is acquired from ticks and fleas.
According to Joem, he put the signage on his motorcycle to inform his fellow commuters that he would be driving slowly because he wanted to be with Buddy for a longer time.
Joem remembers Buddy as a sweet and affectionate dog who got excited every time he got home.
Kahit anong panahon at oras," he added.
Buddy's remains were buried in his father's backyard so Joem could see him often.
