Bretman Rock flaunts Tagalog, Ilocano skills with English quote translation
Call him Bretman Rock, a trilingual icon.
On TikTok, the 25-year-old Filipino-American content creator posted a saying he made himself, kidding that the great words of Lapu-Lapu and Jose Rizal inspired it.
"In order to give life advice, you need to have a f------ life. You bitches have no f------ life," he said.
"I'm kidding, they never said that, but I'm sure they said it in their head once," he added.
In a separate post, Bretman responded to a comment that said, "You are such an icon for us Filipinos, I swear."

In true Bretman fashion, he didn't react to the comment directly but instead tried to translate the quote he did in Tagalog.
"Kung gusto mo magbigay ng payo sa buhay, dapat may buhay ka, kasi kayong mga g----, walang buhay," he said.
He also translated the quote in Ilocano in the same video.
The two videos have over 1.6 million views each in just a day since they were posted.
Previously, Bretman also honored his past self, and said he is "proud of that little brown boy" and that his success is "all because of a little Filipino bakla."
In August last year, Bretman was in the Philippines for a belated birthday celebration in Palawan. He tried out fire dancing at the beach, was memorably stung by a stingray, and ate tamilok.
