Single this February? You can get 'Matinong Boyfriend' in a cone

Single during this official season of love? Fret not, you can eat your feelings and even buy a decent partner...as an ice cream flavor. For the month of love, Sebastian's Ice Cream is bringing back their "Matinong Boyfriend" and "Matinong Girlfriend" series.

This year, "Matinong Boyfriend" tastes like rum-infused bittersweet chocolate with a raspberry sorbet swirl. "Matinong Girlfriend" meanwhile, is quite cheesy—rich cheese ice cream mixed with Cheetos for texture.

Sebastian's Ice Cream first launched the limited edition Valentine's Flavors in 2014. "Matinong Boyfriend" then was nutty dark chocolate and "Matinong Girlfriend" was a raspberry sorbet.

The line expanded in 2015, with Sebastian's adding "Closure" and "Unresolved Issues," both of which make a return this year as passion fruit tea ice cream with dayap zest and ampalaya ice cream with candied ampalaya respectively.

The Valentine's Day series will be available at Sebastian's Ice Cream branches in Podium, Mall of Asia and Regis Center Katipunan through the month of February. —Aya Tantiangco/JST, GMA News
