LOOK: 2,100 Cebu inmates offer special dance for Pope Francis
Some 2,100 inmates of the Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center on Friday offered a special dance for Pope Francis a week before he is set to arrive in the Philippines for a five-day visit.
The Cebu provincial government on Friday afternoon posted photos of the inmates in orange uniforms performing the dance inside the CPDRC facility.
In a Facebook post, the provincial government said the inmates danced to the song "We Are All God's Children," the official theme song of the pope's visit.
As part of the dance, the inmates formed a human cross, it added.
"The song, the choreography and the dancers themselves touched the hearts of the viewers," it said.
