Crate & Barrel features festive tablescapes for the holidays

The Crate and Barrel flagship store in Makati is currently displaying breathtaking tablescapes by two of Manila’s esteemed interior designers, Tessa Alindogan and Anton Barretto.

The showcase provides ideas on how to arrange one’s tableware for this holiday season and also gives inspiration on organizing festivity ready tables.

Tessa Alindogan’s warm orange palette aims to entice diners to indulge in the meal. “The color orange, being visually festive, is also said to stimulate one’s appetite,” she said.

Anton Barretto’s table, on the other hand, evokes the Christmas vibe with succulent centerpieces and muted tones of blue. “Succulents are good alternatives to floral arrangements. They make interesting and dramatic décor which can last after the holidays, with minimal watering or care required,” he said.
