Philippine fabrics showcased at NAIA Terminal 3 as 'Art in Public Spaces'

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts has partned with the Department of Tourism and the Tourism Infrastructure And Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) to bring art to NAIA Terminal 3.

Following the renovations, NCCA and its partners worked with the TALAS group of artists to dress the Terminal 3 walls with colorful Philippine fabrics and turn the pillars into a lakub.

The redesign was done in preparation for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit, but it is also part of a larger "Art in Public Spaces" project by the NCCA. For the same campaign, the NCCA collaborated with Cavity Collective to produce #KalyeSining in Pasay City earlier in September.

The NCCA has also kicked off the restoration efforts for the Manila Metropolitan Theater—AT, GMA News
