PHL’s Pia Wurtzbach in top 3 of Miss Universe 2015

The Miss Universe 2015 crown is now within reach of the Philippines' bet, Pia Wurtzbach, after she was named one of the top three finalists in the pageant being held in Las Vegas on Monday morning (Philippine time).

"Philippines" was the last to be called by the host in the top 3 list.

The two other finalists are the candidates of USA and Colombia.

In the question-and-answer portion right before the top 3 finalists were named, Pia said she sees no problem with US military presence in the Philippines. She cited the good relations between the US and the Philippines, and mentioned that the Philippines was once colonized by the US.

The Miss Universe 2015 will be crowned by last year's winner, Paulina Vega of Colombia. — KG, GMA News
