Miss Colombia gets her moment in People's Choice Miss Universe spoof
Comedian Steve Harvey has already denied the allegations that the flub he made during the Miss Universe coronation night was a publicity stunt, but everyone involved in that awkward awarding have struck media gold—people just can't get enough of it. The gaffe even made its way to another awards ceremony.
In a segment at the People's Choice Awards held on Wednesday, host Jane Lynch gave an honorary trophy to comedian Thomas Lennon.

— People's Choice (@peopleschoice) January 7, 2016Lennon accepted the recognition gracefully, but while he was making the speech, Lynch interrupted him and announced that in fact, the honor belongs to Miss Colombia.
Unfortunately, instead of beauty queen Ariadna Gutierrez, the show could only offer a lookalike—and not even Sofia Vergara!
Gutierrez caught wind of the clip online and she happily shared what she thought about the spoof.
@peopleschoice ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? this is AWESOME
— Ariadna Gutierrez (@gutierrezary) January 7, 2016Although she failed to take the crown home, Gutierrez is a true queen for her fans and the People's Choice Awards spoof is proof that she made a lasting impression that goes beyond the pageant. — RSJ, GMA News
