Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach catches Pokemon fever

Self-confessed gamer and beauty queen Pia Wurtzbach—incidentally also reigning Miss Universe—has caught the Pokemon fever. 

On Instagram, Wurtzbach shared a snap with perhaps the most famous Pokemon of all, Pikachu.

Wurtzbach also shared her a video of her actually playing the game on Facebook:

Wurtzbach's photo is only one in the sea of Pokemon revival posts online, brought on by the release of Pokemon Go. The augmented-reality game has become a phenomenon—much like the original series was when it first came out in 1996.

Pokemon Go has been rolled out in New York (where Wurtzbach currently resides) and the rest of the US plus in Australia. It has yet to be released in the Philippines and other countries in Asia.  — Aya Tantiangco/RSJ, GMA News
