LEGO store opens in QC; toy firm pairs with UNICEF for kids’ center in PGH


Earlier this month LEGO opened its a Certified Store in Trinoma Mall in Quezon City, bringing the number of its Certified Stores in the country to three. 

A LEGO Certified Store has a Pick-a-Brick wall (a custom-built fixture where shoppers can hand-pick the brick they need); fully assembled LEGO sets; and a play area in the middle of the store.

LEGO has also paired with UNICEF Philippines to raise funds to build a National Center for Children with Disabilities in Philippine General Hospital. A portion of the sales at LEGO Certified Stores in the Philippines will go toward this goal.

Furthermore, from now up to and including November 30, P1,000 of the sale proceeds from a minimum single-receipt purchase of P5,999.75 will go to UNICEF to help build the Center.

 

 

 

Shoppers can also buy LEGO poly bags from the Ninjago, Juniors, Friends and NEXO Knights lines at P100 each. All of the proceeds going toward the Center.

At the Trinoma store, the LEGO Disney Castle Set will be on sale, and P1,000 from the proceeds will be donated on the buyer's behalf to UNICEF for the construction of the Center. — BM, GMA News

The LEGO Certified Store in TriNoma is on Level 1 of the mall's Mindanao Wing. It is open from Mondays to Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and from Fridays to Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
