An exhibit showcasing some of the works of Agustin Goy has opened at the National Museum.

The renowned classicist painter, known for his ballet paintings and other beautifully realized works, said that he wants to "feature the three things that every artist has to be capable of doing: still life, landscape, and figures."

With the exhibit showing his work over the decades, the Binondo-born Goy, 81, said that the paintings "show [his] progression in terms of movement and level of difficulty in execution."
