‘A Cure For Wellness’ is the post-Valentine horror film to see
Imagine being confined in a place against your will, where you start to question everything that you perceive. That’s pretty much what “Pirates of the Caribbean” director Gore Verbinski’s latest film “A Cure For Wellness” is all about, and it may be the perfect post-Valentine’s Day psychological horror film to test your sanity.
Starring Dane DeHaan (“The Amazing Spider-Man 2”), the film will take you to the edge of your seat and will make you realize that there’s a good reason to trust your gut, to realize that not everything is what it seems.
Verbinski takes you on a frightening emotional rollercoaster ride of a film that DeHaan’s character navigates—at first full of ambition, then spiraling down to sheer desperation. It certainly has moments that will not be for the faint of heart, but if you're looking for shock value and twisted storytelling, rest assured that this movie is something that will deliver and entertain the horror fan inside you. — BM, GMA News
