PHLPost stamp design contest for 25th anniversary still accepting entries
The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) is now a quarter of a century old—and inviting creative folks across the nation to celebrate the milestone by designing a stamp.
The competition is open to "all high school and college students, and all artists, designers, illustrators, and other interested parties"—in short, everyone.

Designs must focus on the theme "PHLPOST@25: Service to the People at its best towards the Changing World", but must not include it as a text. Participants should also exclude the word "Pilipinas" and the year from the design.
The winner of the contest shall receive a P15,000 cash prize. A second and third place prize of P10,000 and P5,000 will also be awarded.
Entries must be mounted on a 1/4-size black-and-white illustration board, vertical or horizontal, measuring 8 and 3/4 inches x 11 1/2 inches, and must be submitted together with a CD containing the jpeg file format of the stamps. The actual stamp size is 30 mm x 40 mm in vertical format and 40 mm x 30 mm in horizontal format. Artworks must be executed through computer or digital art. There are no restrictions as to the use of colors in the artworks.
Participants may submit their design via Domestic Express Mail Service or Registered Mail Service addressed to: Phlpost@25 Commemorative Stamp Design Contest, Philippine Postal Corporation, Post Shop, Philately and Museum Division, 3rd Floor, Manila CPO Building, 1000 Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila.
The stamp competition was launched in September 2016 and had an initial deadline of submission of February 28, 2017.
Interested participants may get in touch with Ms. Joy Edralin-Cacho, Special Project Officer-Post Shop, Philately and Museum Division at 527 0108 / 527 0132.
