New trailer, poster for ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’ look awesome

This summer blockbuster season is already packed with a lot of great movies to look forward to, but Marvel Studios and Disney are reminding fans that the most unlikely heroes of the galaxy are coming back: the latest trailer for “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” has dropped, and it gives us something to be “Hooked on a Feeling” on for the next few months.

The motley crew of interstellar mercenaries turned heroes are back: Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, and Dave Bautista return as Star-Lord, Gamora, and Drax, along with Bradley Cooper voicing Rocket Raccoon and Vin Diesel as little tree offspring Baby Groot.

Premiering on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the new trailer shows the Guardians trying to save the Galaxy again from another threat, all the while adding new members to their group and discovering that they are slowly becoming a family.

Also, Star-Lord finally meets his dad in Ego The Living Planet, who’s played by legendary action hero actor Kurt Russell.

Besides the new trailer, director James Gunn also released this kick-ass new poster. Catch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in theaters this summer!
