Artists invited to join 13th GSIS National Art Competition
The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) invites all Filipino artists to submit their entries to its National Art Competition this year.
"The competition, which is now on its 13th year, has an open theme this year to encourage artists to conceptualize freely. We would like this art competition to continue recognizing and promoting the talent of aspiring Filipino artists here and abroad," GSIS officer-in-charge and Senior Vice President for NCR operations Nora Malubay-Saludares said in a statement released on Monday.
Participants aged 18 years old and above may start submitting their entries on May 6, 2017 (Saturday) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the GSIS Gymnasium, GSIS Head Office, Financial Center, Roxas, Boulevard, Pasay City.
This year's open-themed competition will have three categories: Representational, non-representational, and sculpture.
Entry forms and competition guidelines are accessible from the GSIS website and any of its office nationwide.
Winners will have the chance to exhibit their work in the GSIS Museo ng Sining and will also receive cash prizes amounting from P30,000 to P300,000. — Marlly Rome Bondoc/BM, GMA News
