Local beat-makers sample Duterte speeches for ‘budots’ music

Some local beat-makers and electronic musicians have created "budots" music based on President Rodrigo Duterte's speeches, with the samples making use of the president's frequent use of expletives.

The title of the tracklist is "Rodrigo Duterte's Summer Budots Party."

The tracks include:

Pinoy beat-makers of the BuwanBuwan Collective, which has been conducting Bakunawa or a "monthly beat cypher challenge", aims "to awaken, to mesmerize and to bring people together in the local live band and EDM/DJ scenes."
