Redfoo, Alex Aiono perform on last night of Lubao balloon and music fest

The final night of the Lubao International Balloon and Music Festival ended with YouTube star Alex Aiono singing his hit Drake covers and a few originals and LMFAO vocalist Redfoo performing his hit single "Party Rock Anthem." Around 15,000 people—some coming from as far away as Davao—attended the event.

Organizers tried to inflate the hot-air balloons as the final spectacle of the night, but strong air currents impeded the attempt. Still, this fourth outing of the event has been the most successful, said Lubao Municipal Mayor Mylyn Pineda Cayabyab.

According to her, the visitor numbers exceeded expectations and were higher than those of previous years. "The Lubao municipality, once a unknown farmland in the province of Pampanga, is now put on the map of worldwide audiences. We will continue doing it better in the coming years," she said. — BM, GMA News
