Thor battles an old friend from work in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ teaser

From eyelinered Jeff Goldblum to the multicolor film titles to Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" on full blast, the new "Thor: Ragnarok" teaser is embracing the cheese.

New Zealand actor-director Taika Waititi's first full-length feature directorial foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe looks like an ode to the fantasy films of the '80s—and that might be a good thing, judging by what we see in the nearly-two-minute teaser. It also features villainess Cate Blanchett crushing Thor's hammer Mjolnir and the unexpected appearance of one of Thor's colleagues "from work."
