Full cast of ‘Heneral Luna’ sequel ‘Goyo’ revealed

Production for the sequel to the hit historical film "Heneral Luna" will soon be underway and to whet people's appetite for it further, the full cast for the film was revealed in a photo released on Thursday.

Paolo Avelino leads the charge as the titular character "Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral."

Avelino is joined by Jason Abalos, Art Acuña, Benjamin Alves, Alvin Anson, Carlo Aquino, Christopher Aronson, RK Bagatsing, Perla Bautista, Nonie Buencamino, Roeder Camañag, Mon Confiado, Carlo Cruz, Jason Dewey, Miguel Faustmann, Bret Jackson, Ronnie Lazaro, Guji Lorenzana, Jojit Lorenzo, Leo Martinez, Lorenz Martinez, Karl Medina, Epy Quizon, Che Ramos, E. A. Rocha, Tomas Santos, Empress Schuck, Robert Seña, Stephanie Sol, Markki Stroem, Arron Villaflor, and Gwen Zamora.

Jerrold Tarog returns to direct and in a statement released to the press he said, “It’s been three years since we last shot ‘Heneral Luna’. It’s a bit nostalgic to see the returning original cast. At the same time, I’m also really looking forward to working with our brilliant new cast members as we start shooting for ‘Goyo’ in a couple of weeks.”
