Vanity Fair reveals 4 Star Wars covers

Declaring that its reveal of the upcoming Star Wars film is "too big for just one cover," Vanity Fair has unveiled four covers of its upcoming issue, featuring the stars of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi."

All of the photos were shot by Annie Leibovitz. One features Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and Daisy Ridley (Rey), shot on location in Ireland. Another features Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver and Domhnall Gleeson as First Order villains Captain Phasma, Kylo Ren, and General Hux.

The third cover shows Ridley's The Force Awakens buddies Oscar Isaac (Poe Dameron) and John Boyega (Finn), this time accompanied by newcomer Kelly Marie Tran, who plays maintenance worker Rose Tico.

The last cover, most poignantly, features the late Carrie Fisher on her own. "This final cover features only her character, Leia—the general, princess, and rebel who has been a figure central to the Star Wars universe from the very outset," said VF.

"Star Wars: The Last Jedi" opens in theaters on December 15. — BM, GMA News
