Chadwick Boseman leaps to action in ‘Black Panther’ teaser
Chadwick Boseman is slipping into some slick tights as he jumps into the role of T'Challa a.k.a. Black Panther, heir to the throne of the Kingdom of Wakanda.
The hero's first appearance in "Captain America: Civil War" was met with cheers and, if the teaser is any indication, it looks like fans are in for a sick ride.
Following the bombing in Vienna that resulted in the death of his father in "Civil War", T'Challa returns to Wakanda to take his rightful place as king — but as expected, the crown won't just simply land on his head.
Conflict and chaos loom and T'Challa must rally his allies to restore order in Wakanda.
Joining Boseman are Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis.
Ryan Coogler ("Fruitvale Station", "Creed") is directing the screenplay he co-wrote with Joe Robert Cole ("American Crime Story"). — AT, GMA News
