Cosplayers and celebrities at ToyCon 2017

ToyCon brought the biggest names in movies, television, music, comics, gaming, and anime under one roof yet again on its 16th year and brought more local and international artists to make it a truly special event.

Toycon 2017 saw figures and toys from top companies and groups such as Kotobukiya, Marvel, Hobbiestock, Hobby Korner, Sideshow Collectibles, Disney, and Gaming Library. 

International singers and groups such as Yanakiku and Nana Yamada along with renowned creators Baninay Bautista, Will Dasovich, and Alodia Gosengfiao (to name a few) and top groups such as Joestarscream, Adobers Studio, and the Philippine Lightsaber Guild graced the toycon's stages.

And under its partnership with PopLife Fan Xperience, pop celebrities including Liza Soberano, Cas Anvar, Charlie Bewley, Greg Cipes, Karen Fukuhara, Kevin McNally, Lindsey Mckeon, and Stefan Capicic entertained and got close with fans.

As always, ToyCon featured heavy fan participation through the ToyCon Cosplay Contest and World Cosplay Summit.

ToyCon 2017 runs from June 30 to July 2 at the SMX Convention Center. — AT, GMA News
