Netflix drops trailer for Mother Monster documentary, ‘Gaga: Five Foot Two’

The Netflix original documentary about 'Mother Monster' Lady Gaga makes its world premiere on September 8 at the Toronto Film Festival and excited fans who are unfortunately unable to attend can rest easy knowing that the wait for its small screen debut isn't that long.

"Gaga: Five Foot Two" will be available worldwide on the online streaming service beginning September 22 and the teaser trailer is here to get Little Monsters even more excited.

The minute-long clip shows flashes scenes from recent Gaga history, including the recording of her latest album "Joanne", her appearance in "American Horror Story: My Roanoke Nightmare", and her incredible Super Bowl LI Halftime Show performance.

"Gaga: Five Foot Two" is directed by Chris Moukarbel and is shot "in the style of cinema verité" — capturing both ordinary and extraordinary moments in Lady Gaga's life over a period of eight months.

Lady Gaga has released five albums to date, including a duet album with the legendary Tony Bennett.

Born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, Lady Gaga gained fame from dance tracks "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance." She has won six Grammy Awards since her musical debut in 2008 and has also received recognition for her work in advocating LGBTQ+ rights.

She crossed over to acting in 2015, winning a Golden Globe Award for her role in "American Horror Story: Hotel."

The Netflix original documentary offers a glimpse into the larger than life career of the 5-foot-2 artist.
