The University of the Philippines College of Mass Communications (UPCMC) on Saturday honored two of GMA Network's top senior executives for their excellence in broadcast media and television arts.

GMA Network’s senior vice president and entertainment group head Lilybeth Rasonable and GMA First Vice President for News Grace Dela Peña-Reyes were among the 12 who were given Glory Awards by the UPCMC.

Rasonable was named as the Glory Awardee for Television Arts, while Dela-Peña was named as the Glory Awardee for Broadcast Journalism.

Both are UPCMC alumnae.

Launched just last year, the “Glory” is UPCMC’s alumni recognition award inspired by the legacy of its first dean, Gloria Feliciano.

Last year, GMA News and Public Affairs Senior Vice President Marissa Flores, news anchor and host Jessica Soho, broadcast journalist Kara David, and Investigative Documentaries host Malou Mangahas received distinctions at the Glory Awards. —with reports from Roehl Niño Bautista/MDM, GMA News
