Rachelle Ann Go wins Best Actress in 2018 BroadwayWorld UK Awards

The year ends on the highest note for acclaimed theater actor Rachelle Ann Go. 

Rachelle was voted by the public as Best Actress in a New Production of a Musical in the 2018 BroadwayWorld UK Awards. 

She won for her performance as Eliza Schuyler in the West End run of Lin-Manuel Miranda's "Hamilton."

Rachelle shared a simple "thank you" via Twitter for the honor.

Rachelle previously won Best Performance for a Song at the West End Frame Awards in 2016 as Fantine in "Les Miserables" and Best Featured Actress in a Musical at the Theater Fans's Choice Awards in 2017 as Gigi in "Miss Saigon."

"Hamilton" went on to pick-up several other awards at the BroadwayWorld Awards, including acting nods for Giles Terera (Aaron Burr) and Jason Pennycooke (Marquis de Lafayette / Thomas Jefferson) and Best New Production of a Musical. — AT, GMA News
