Performers flock to Baguio City's Panagbenga Festival


More than 20 performing groups representing different local communities flocked to Baguio City's Panagbenga Festival on Saturday to join the Grand Street Parade, according to a report on Saturday on GMA News' 24 Oras.

The parade, really a competition between street performers with a grand prize of P300,000, featured communities from diverse backgrounds, including cadets from the Philippine Military Academy who showed they could bust a move with the best of them.

Sunday will be the official start of the Panabenga's Grand Float Parade.

A Kapuso float, which will be manned by actors Tom Rodriguez, Janine Guitierrez, and Kyline Alcantara, would be taking part in the parade. —Kaela Malig/DVM, GMA News
