Disney releases official live-action Aladdin trailer

Are you ready for a whole new world—one that features Will Smith as the blue-skinned Genie of the Lamp?

Disney on Tuesday released the trailer for the live-action adaptation of "Aladdin," one of its most beloved animated movies.

Will Smith—who generated a lot of buzz when his buff, blue Genie showed up in a teaser for the film last month—provides the star power, while little-known actors Mena Massoud and Naomi Scott play Aladdin and Jasmine respectively.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, "Aladdin" follows Disney's live-action adaptations of "Cinderella," "Beauty and the Beast," and "The Jungle Book." Two more—"Dumbo" and "The Lion King"—will come out this year.
