Joanna Ampil to reprise role as Grizabella in 'Cats' Manila run

The beloved musical "Cats" will be arriving at local theaters, and veteran actress Joanna Ampil will once again take the center stage as Grizabella.

At a press conference on Thursday, the veteran theater actress, who has performed in several West End musicals including "Miss Saigon" and "Les Miserable," said she was excited to reprise her role in the Manila leg of Andrew Lloyd Webber's family favorite classic.

She also gave the press a taste of her touching rendition of the show tune "Memory."

"Cats" will run from November 6 to 17 at the Theatre At Solaire.
