Ebe Dancel to hold a solo concert in February 2020

Former Sugarfree frontman Ebe Dancel will be staging his a solo concert in February next year, in celebration of his 20th year in the music industry.

"Ebe Dancel with The Manila String Machine" will be on February 29, 2020 at the Metrotent Convention Center in Pasig.

According to an announcement posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday, tickets will be available by October 31, 2019.

He will be accompanied by the Manila String Machine, one of the most notable string groups in the Philippines.

"Almost 40 people onstage with me. There's a picture in my head I can't wait to share with you," Ebe said on Twitter.

The concert will also have Ebe working once again with Paolo Valenciano, who takes on the creative director role, and Chino David as musical director.

Ticket prices range from P2,500 to P3,500.

Ebe Dancel has been a solo artist since the Sugarfree, known for classic hits like "Hari ng Sablay," "Mariposa," "Telepono" disbanded in 2011. — Margaret Claire Layug/LA,  GMA News
