3 cool things you need to know about Christian Bautista, Aicelle Santos and Mark Bautista's '1 For 3' concert this Feb

Are you ready for a night with Asia's Romantic Balladeer, a Kapuso broadway star and an internationally-acclaimed singing sensation all together on one stage?

In their first-ever concert together called "1 For 3," world-class singers Christian Bautista, Aicelle Santos and Mark Bautista will be performing together at Solaire's The Theatre on February 1.

But before you get your tickets, here are a few cool things about the show that you need to know:

1. Christian, Aicelle and Mark don't even want a talent fee
 
"'Yun ang pinagusapan namin!" Aicelle said during the press conference on Wednesday.

The three artists were proud to reveal that the pre-valentine show was something they came up with as producers, as well as long-time performers and friends.

"I love that they have that mindset," the stage director Paolo Valenciano said. "I witnessed them in that conversation, where the three of them just said, 'Alam mo, huwag na tayong mag-TF. Pagandahin na lang natin 'yung show."

2. Expect a broadway "medley" and new original songs

As we all know, Christian, Aicelle and Mark are not only internationally-acclaimed singers—they're also phenomenal musical performers, so they wish to share their love for theater with the audience in "1 For 3."

Also, let's not forget, Christian and Aicelle are still on a newlywed high so they picked a date that would "start the Valentine's day celebrations."

Mark, on the other hand, who had yet to find "the one," said he had a lot of "creative juices" flowing and composed a few original songs to be performed on the show. Yes—wow.

3. Even the director's excited

Paolo, who's also a singer and the son of Gary Valenciano, had nothing but praise for the time, effort, and creativity that Christian, Aicelle and Mark contributed to make "1 For 3" happen.

"Excited ako na artist 'yung producer kasi 'yung main goal talaga namin is to make sure that everyone in the audience has a good time," the stage director said.

"Wala kaming limitation with regards to, 'ah, kailangan ganito gagawin natin,' so its almost as if the artists can really be themselves," he added.

1 for 3, presented by Solaire resort in cooperation with PLDT, will be on February 1 at Solaire’s The Theatre.
