Proceeds of Heart Evangelista’s painting to go to frontliners
Actress Heart Evangelista has found another way to extend help amid the new coronavirus (Covid-2019) pandemic with the proceeds of one of her paintings going to frontliners.
On an Instagram post Wednesday, Heart shared that her painting “Upended 2020” was sold to Art for Life for the benefit of Covid-19 frontliners.
“Art for a cause. My painting, ‘Upended 2020,’ was sold to Art for Life and the proceeds will go to our dear frontliners,” Heart wrote on the caption.
The Kapuso Queen of Collaborations said she was sad to let the artwork go but she was also “happy that it will be part of someone else’s story.”
Heart has been doing charity work by sending aid to those who ask for her assistance.
The actress was overjoyed when one of the people she had helped, Twitter user Cathleen Chavoso, guested on “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho” to personally thank her.
Chavoso sought assistance for the medication and oxygen tank of her baby, who was born with hydrocephalus. – Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/RC, GMA News
