'The Atom Araullo Specials: Batch 2020' to talk about struggles of Filipinos in the education sector

Atom Araullo's latest special documentary "Batch 2020" will tell four stories involving the struggles of Filipinos in the education sector as they try to meet its demands amid the new normal.

Among the four stories that will be tackled include Charlie, a grade 7 student who collects and sells crabs to save money for his online school.

Another is Pam, a National Teacher Broadcaster of the Department of Education who is juggling her responsibility as a mother of three and her job.

It will also cover Brenda's story, an overseas Filipino worker who is currently working as a tutor in Baras, Rizal after she was stuck in the Philippines due to the lockdown.

"Batch 2020" will also dig deep into General Nakar, Quezon, the most secluded place in the Philippines that doesn't have electricity and signal for online classes.

“The Atom Araullo Specials: Batch 2020” airs this October 25, 3:30 p.m. on GMA Network. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
