Kelley Day: ‘Philippines, this was all for you’
Kelley Day celebrated her win as Miss Eco International’s first runner-up as she thanks fellow Filipinos for their support.
In an Instagram post on Monday, the Kapuso beauty queen shared a photo of hers wearing a red dazzling gown with a sash that read “Miss Eco 1st Runner Up 2021.”
It was followed by a series of snaps from the competition that commenced on Monday (PHL time) in Egypt.
“What an experience it has been," Kelley said of her first international pageant experienced. "I’m extremely touched by all the support and wonderful messages I have been receiving from all of you,” she added.
“Philippines, this was all for you. Especially to those who stayed up till 5am to watch the Coronation night Live,” she said.
Kelley also gave thanks to the Miss Eco International Organization and her team who helped with her preparations for the pageant.
“I LOVE YOU ALL!” she also wrote with the hashtags #PhilippinePride and #ForThePhilippines.
Kelley also won the Best in National Costume award during the National Costume competition.
Gizzelle Mandy Uys of South Africa was named Miss Eco International while USA's Alexandria Kelley bagged the second runner-up title. — Franchesca Viernes/LA, GMA News
