Maxene Maglona finds out painting behind Francis M. in an old TVC is by her husband Rob Mananquil

Maxene Magalona just found out that the painting behind her late dad Francis Magalona in an old family TVC is by her husband Rob Mananquil.

On Instagram, Maxene shared a photo with Rob, an abstract painting behind them calling attention. In the next slide, she shared a photo of their family TVC for a cola brand where the same artwork was seen behind Francis M.

In the caption, Maxene quoted a line from one of Francis' songs "Kaleidoscope world."

"Years ago, our family did an endorsement for a cola brand, which we shot in a beautiful house in Makati," Maxene wrote, fondly recalling the shoot.

"I remember having so much fun with everyone at the shoot, working while spending quality time together," she wrote. "My Dad always loved cracking jokes and making us laugh which made work so much more enjoyable."

Then the realization: According to Maxene, she was tagged in a throwback photo from the shoot.

Showing it to Rob, she told her husband about the shoot, how it was shot at "the house that belonged to one of our godparents in our wedding, Tito Keren Pascual," she added.

"When he saw the photo, he turned to me and said, 'The painting behind Pop is one of my artworks,'" she narrated Rob as saying.

Shocked after learning that it was her husband's artwork, Maxene said it "proved to me that God truly works in mysterious ways."

"Since then, we decided to hang the painting in our living room so that we can be reminded that God brought us all together for a purpose," she added.

Maxene's post was something of a celebration for Father's Day. She ended her caption by quoting another line from one of his songs.

"Papa believed in the power of peace and I do too," she wrote. "To quote one of his songs, 'There won’t be peace on earth unless we live as one.'"

"Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads, single Moms and pet parents! God bless you all."

It was among the powerful tributes on Father's Day from the Magalona ladies. Earlier on Sunday, Saab celebrated their dad Francis by covering "1-8000-Ninety Six" as she wore his clothes.

Meanwhile, their mom Pia shared a throwback family collage with Francis as she commemorated her late husband and greeted herself a Happy Father's Day, too.
