CCP building lights up in rainbow colors to mark Pride Month
The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Main Building illuminated with rainbow colors on Wednesday evening to commemorate Pride Month.
The initiative is in support of the LGBTQIA+ community’s call for gender equality and inclusivity.
The light shows will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily until June 30, except Mondays and during inclement weather.
Last year, the CCP also celebrated Pride Month with a lighting event which ran for days.
Pride Month is held every June to celebrate all kinds and forms of gender worldwide. – Danny Pata, Franchesca Viernes/RC, GMA News
