Beatrice Gomez is one gorgeous dalagang Filipina in new photo shared by Miss Universe Philippines

Looks like Beatrice Gomez is more than ready for the Miss Universe competition.

On Instagram Friday afternoon, Miss Universe Philippines shared a black and white photo of the Filipino beauty queen looking gorgeous.

With her hair in a low bun, Bea wore a modern Filipiniana dress by designer Chico Estiba. It had butterfly sleeves and a sheer bodice accentuated by beads and crystals that gave it a low neck effect. Her pretty face was framed by drop pearl earrings. Her hands and fingers, gracefully posed. 

In the photo, Bea looked determined, as if she was ready to take home the crown.

"In a few hours, another phenomenal Filipina will proudly wear the Philippine sash on the Miss Universe stage. Luigi will compete at the Miss Universe Preliminary Competition and National Costume Show later. Let us all rally behind her with love and positivity. We are proud of you Luigi," the organization wrote in the caption.

Beatrice Gomez made history as the first openly out member of the LGBT+ community to win Miss Universe Philippines.

She competes against 80 candidates across the world, beginning with the preliminaries tonight. The coronation event takes place on Monday, December 13 (Philippine time). — LA, GMA News
