Singapore, Vietnam queens hype their ‘bestie’ Beatrice Gomez at 70th Miss Universe

We love supportive queens! Singapore’s Nandita Banna and Vietnam’s Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen were spotted hyping Philippines’ Beatrice Luigi Gomez at the 70th Miss Universe pageant.

During the pageant, Nandita shared an Instagram story of them cheering Beatrice on when she was still in the run for the crown and title.

“Philippines, fighting! Get the crown! Try your best! If you don't get the crown, I will kill you! Love you so much!” Kim said while smiling widely from ear to ear.

Nandita, meanwhile, expressed her love for her roommate in the caption: “Bestie, we love you!”

Prior to the coronation, Nandita also shared a video of her and “roomie” Bea preparing for the event.

Since coming to Israel, the three have been spending lots of time together as seen in their Instagram accounts. Once, they went live and tried Vietnamese food as they talk about their Miss Universe journeys.

Beatrice, hailing from Cebu City, settled with a Top 5 finish. Singapore’s Nandita and Vietnam’s Kim, meanwhile, finished in the Top 16.

Before bowing out of the competition, the Philippine bet slayed the stage in a sexy pink swimsuit, a red evening gown, and her “Bakunawa” national costume during the preliminaries.

Beatrice also made history in September after becoming the first openly out member of the LGBTQIA+ community to win the Miss Universe Philippines crown.
