Tracy Perez, 2 other beauty queens off to this year’s international pageants

Miss World Philippines Organization on Saturday expressed its well wishes to three beauty queens who are set to represent the country in international pageants.

The pageant organization had a send-off press conference for Miss World Philippines 2021 Tracy Maureen Perez, Miss Eco Philippines 2021 Kathleen Paton, and Miss Environment Philippines 2021 Michelle Arceo at the B Hotel in Quezon City.

Tracy, Kathleen, and Michelle are set to compete in their respective pageants this March and April.

“Triple treat for our power trio of Exceptionally Empowered Filipinas,” the beauty pageant organization wrote in a Facebook caption.

After several postponements, the 70th Miss World is set to take place in Puerto Rico on Mar. 12.

Should Tracy win the Miss World Digital Media Challenge, it would allow her to advance to the top 12 of the beauty pageant.

“After my third try, I finally was able to bring home the crown, and hopefully I get to bring home the second Miss World crown to the Philippines… I’ve been through so much, and I will fight until the very end,” the Miss World Philippines 2021 said during her send-off speech.

Meanwhile, Kathleen is set to leave for Egypt for the Miss Eco pageant this March, while Michelle will fly to India to compete for the Miss Environmental International crown, which will be held from Mar. 12 to Apr. 2.

“I call on everyone to show your full support for our queens as they compete and represent our country in their respective pageants abroad," Miss World Philippines Organization Vice President Ryan Ros Calmante told GMA News Online.
