Hannah Arnold says this Japanese proverb helped her in Miss International journey
Hannah Arnold is filled with nothing but love and gratitude after her Miss International journey.
The Filipina beauty queen finished in the Top 15 of the pageant held in Japan. In an Instagram post, Hannah shared that a Japanese proverb “helped [her] overcome many challenges and find [hope] over these past weeks.”
It goes, “ue o mireba kagiri nashi,” meaning, “there is no end [or] limit to what you can achieve.”
“It is something I wanted to share to the international community on stage but I share it today instead, and do so while happy and content,” Hannah said.
Calling her Miss International journey “absolutely unforgettable,” Hannah said she “will truly be returning home with a grateful heart, a camera roll full of irreplaceable memories, many new sisters and mamas from around the world and the realisation that we truly can achieve anything.”
In her post, Hannah also made sure to thank the people who supported her throughout the competition: her family, friends, designers, glam team, sponsors, fans, and the Binibining Pilipinas organization.
“Philippines[,] it was an honour to wear you across my heart, for the past 2 years. I am proud to be Filipino. Mahal ko kayo,” she added. “For the last time[,] I am Hannah Consencino Arnold[,] your Binibining Pilipinas International 2021, and Miss International 2022 top 15 finalist."
