This giant scarecrow in Isabela was made up of over 40 kilos of dried sapsap.

According to a "24 Oras" Thursday, the huge piece was made by Engineer Reynald Bernabe from the municipality of Dinapigue. It was featured during the Bambanti Festival.

Bernabe chose the fish as material since the province is blessed with it. They also made sure to catch these fish early as it comes seasonally.

With its creativity and uniqueness, the scarecrow was hailed grand champion in the festival's contest.
