Herlene Budol asks for support ahead of Miss Grand Philippines coronation event

Herlene Budol took to Instagram to ask for support ahead of the Miss Grand Philippines coronation event.

Posting a photo of herself in a provocative beaded top, the comedienne began her countdown to the Miss Grand Philippines coronation event happening this weekend.

"Countdown na po tayo mga KaSquammy ko! Supportahan nyo ako sa July 13, 2023 sa MOA Arena. Grand Coronation night na ng Ms. Grand Philippines 2023," she wrote on Instagram.

Apart from thanking her fans, followers, and supporters, she also thanked pageant camp KF Crown and Country founded by Rodin Flores and her manager Wilbert Tolentino for the training and the encouragement to return to pageantry.

"Pagod pero hindi susuko," Herlene said as she ended her short caption.

Ms. Grand Philippines is Herlene's second attempt at pageantry, after becoming the 1st runner up of Bb. Pilipinas 2022.

She ran into a bit of controversy after she was bashed for allegedly making a "dogshow" out of an interview. Herlene apologized, explaining she was so nervous and didn't understand the question.

In a "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" interview following the controversy, Herlene admitted she thought of quitting Ms. Grand.

Glad she didn't — because we want to see her Grand Budol Walk at the Ms. Grand Philippines stage on coronation night come July 13.
