Atom Araullo has written a book and it's going to be launched at the Metro Manila International Book Fair this month.
On Instagram, the official account of UP Press announced the Kapuso journalist's latest feat and gave further details.
The book is called "A View from the Ground" and it will be launched at the main stage of the event on September 14, 2025, at 2pm.
"Witness stories from the ground, told by one of the most compelling voices of his generation. Catch broadcast journalist and award-winning documentarist Atom Araullo at the Manila International Book Fair for the launch of his book, 'A View from the Ground'," UP Press said.
"A View from the Ground" is the award-winning journalist's first collection of narrative journalism and contains photos taken by Atom himself. According to UP Press, it is "focused on people living in the margins of society."
On his Instagram Stories, Atom reposted the announcement and added a happy, teary-eyed emoji. When congratulated by GMA News Online, he signaled joy and said "Yehey!"
Apart from being an award-winning journalist, Atom is also a Palanca award-winning writer, having won the first prize in the Essay Category in 2022 for his essay "Letter from Tawi-Tawi," which was first published on GMA News Online, where he contributes.
Congratulations on your book, Atom! Here's to many more!
