'A Chorus Line' in Manila: Ticket prices, sale dates, and show schedule
Heads up, theater heads!
In celebration of its 50th anniversary next year, the hit Broadway musical “A Chorus Line” is set to hold a Philippine staging in March 2026, and here is all the information you need to know.
Theatre Group Asia (TGA) is staging the production with an all-Filipino cast, directed and choreographed by Karla Puno Garcia, an Emmy Award-winning Fil-Am artist based in New York.
The production is led by TGA’s Overall Artistic and Creative Director, Tony Award-winner Clint Ramos.
Created by Michael Bennett, “A Chorus Line” follows the story of 17 performers as they go through a competitive audition process in hopes of earning one of the eight spots in an unnamed Broadway musical.
The ticket prices range from P900 to P5,500, with the following seat categories:
· The Spotlight: P5,500
· Director’s Row P4,500
· Rehearsal Room P3,700
· Backstage Pass P3,000
· The Dressing Room P2,500
· The Callboard P1,800
· The Line P900
The tickets will go on sale on the following dates through Ticket World:
· September 15 to 17: Exclusive pre-sale for BPI cardholders
· September 18: Pre-sale for TGA early sign-ups
· September 19: Tickets open to the general public
“A Chorus Line” is set to run from March 12 to 29, 2026, at The Theatre at Solaire.
TGA is the group behind the wordless play “Request sa Radyo” starring Lea Salonga and Dolly De Leon, and the recently concluded “Into the Woods.”
