SB19 dominates first-ever Filipino Music Awards; Cup of Joe bags song, album of the year

The first-ever Filipino Music Awards was a celebration of the best of what music has to offer.

Held on Tuesday, October 21, in front of a crowd of 500 artists and industry guests at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, the award-giving body honored the artists and songs that shape Filipino music today, from SB19 to Jose Mari Chan.

SB19 was among the top nominees of the night, and dominated the awards with six wins including Artist of the Year, while Cup of Joe won two of the biggest awards, the Song and Album of the Year.
