Kendra Kramer becomes Most Outstanding Swimmer at DLSZ Invitational Swim Meet
Kendra Kramer has achieved one of her goals in a swimming competition: taking home the Most Outstanding Swimmer award.
On Instagram, the 17-year-old swimmer shared a carousel of photos showing off her medals and trophy, along with action shots from this year's De La Salle Zobel Invitational Swim Meet.
"Another goal checked, so many more to go," she wrote. "Thankful to the Lord."
In a separate post, Kendra's proud father, Doug Kramer, recalled how, three years ago, his daughter joined the same swimming meet but left without any medals.
"It took three years of relentless grind to get here," he said.
"Australia training, targeted S&C, support of her coaches, and showing up every single day to do the work in silence," he added. "Now she got one of her goals checked!"
Doug also said that Kendra's ultimate goal is to represent the Philippines in swimming one day.
Kendra is the eldest child of Doug and Chesca Garcia, who have been married since 2008. They have two other children: Scarlett and Gavin.
