Emma Tiglao takes final walk as Miss Grand International 2025, says it's her last pageant

Emma Tiglao has taken her final walk as Miss Grand International 2026, and perhaps her final walk in pageantry.

The Filipina beauty queen looked resplendent in strapless pink corset gown with a sweetheart neckline, adorned with intricate red and gold crystals.

In her speech, Emma said the Miss Grand International 2025 would be her final pageant, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to end her pageant career on a high note.

She thanked Filipinos for showing her the true meaning of bayanihan.

“I hope that you are proud that we achieved the historic back to back for the Philippines,” she said.

Emma also advised the next queen to embrace and enjoy her journey.

“Finally to the next queen, I hope that you will embrace and enjoy your journey. it will not be smooth. The crown is heavy, literally and figuratively. But I hope that you will just enjoy your journey,” she said.

Emma made history as the second Filipina to win the coveted golden crown, following CJ Opiaza’s victory in 2024, securing back-to-back wins for the Philippines.

Meanwhile, Philippine bet Angelica Lopez fell short in making it to the Top 11 and ended her stint with a Top 25 finish during the coronation night held on Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand.

Despite her early exit, the beauty queen from Palawan gave an impressive performance and won the Best National Costume, inspired by the mangkukulam, a figure associated with witchcraft in Philippine folklore.

She also sizzled on the runway in her green bikini during the swimsuit portion.

During the competition, Angelica advocated for positive peace. —JCB, GMA News
