BINI makes history with Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards nomination

BINI made history yet again!

The Nation's Girl Group is nominated at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for Favorite Global Music Star.

According to Billboard Philippines, BINI is the first Filipino act and the first non-Korean act to be nominated in the category.

They are nominated alongside Karol G, Olivia Dean, Tame Impala, Taylor Swift, Tyla, and Zara Larsson.

Fans can now vote for their favorites on the Kids' Choice Awards website.

In April, BINI performed at Coachella in Indio, California, becoming the first P-pop girl group to perform at the festival.

In August, BINI performed the Summer Sonic in Tokyo and Osaka.

BINI is part of the official sound track of the Filipino animated film "Forgotten Island," with the song "A Parallel World."

The group is set to headline Asia Pop Girl Fest 2027 alongside Japanese girl group HANA and Thai girl group 4EVE, with shows scheduled in Japan, Thailand, and the Philippines. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
