BINI gives first live preview of 'A Parallel World' from 'Forgotten Island' OST
BINI gave their Blooms an early look at “A Parallel World,” their contribution to the upcoming animated film “Forgotten Island,” at the Signals world tour at the SM Mall of Asia Arena over the weekend.
The Nation’s Girl Group surprised concertgoers with a special performance of the track, complete with choreography that BINI Gwen hinted fans would be seeing “everywhere very soon.”
“Tandaan niyo ‘yang choreo na ‘yan dahil makikita niyo ‘yan everywhere very soon,” she said.
Joining BINI on the OST are Liza Soberano, Lea Salonga, and H.E.R., who are also part of the film’s voice cast.
Liza and H.E.R. perform the film’s title track, “BRB,” which incorporates Tagalog lyrics and reflects the bond between their characters.
Meanwhile, Katseye’s Sophia Laforteza also lends her voice to a reimagined version of INXS’ classic hit “Never Tear Us Apart.”
The soundtrack also includes SB19’s rendition of Francis Magalona’s “Mga Kababayan” and Ruby Ibarra’s “Salbahae Ako,” featuring Carl Angelo.
“Forgotten Island” will follow the journey of two childhood best friends, Raissa (Liza) and Jo (H.E.R.).
The longer they stay on the island, the more their memories fade. As they search for a way home, they encounter Raww (Dave Franco), a weredog, and the island’s most feared creature, the Dreaded Manananggal (Lea).
Aside from Liza, H.E.R., Dave, and Lea, the film also stars Dolly de Leon, Manny Jacinto, Jenny Slate, Jo Koy, and Ronny Chieng.
