Gazini Ganados reveals she gets in trouble for pro-Palestine stance

Gazini Ganados revealed that she experiences consequences in her career for being pro-Palestine.

The Filipino-Palestinian beauty queen said on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" on Monday that she gets in trouble for speaking up about her stance.

"In fact, there are some brands that quite are avoiding the topic," she said.

Gazini added that she boycotts brands that support Israel.

"I'm not against Israel itself as a whole because I know some of them has a big heart, has a nice intention," she said. "It's just that we are stuck in this era where we have to stand by humanity."

She said that the issue is not just about the safety of her family living in Gaza, but in general.

Gazini proudly showed her Palestinian heritage in a photo shoot for Miss Grand International All-Stars back in May. She finished in the Top 5 of the pageant.

She recently walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week.

Gazini is one of the stars of "Red Crown," which is coming out in cinemas on October 28. —Nika Roque/MGP, GMA News
